HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Our desserts are shipped in
perfect condition, and will arrive either frozen or slightly thawed. For
best results,
please put the box you receive in the freezer as soon
as you receive it.
Shelf life
Freezer: 6-9 months
Refrigerator: 3-7 days
Thawing recommendations
Mousse Cakes & Tarts: 2-3 hours
Cheesecakes: overnight
Mousse Cakes
Most of our individual mousse cakes
have plastic collars for protection.
Please remove the
plastic collar while the cake is
still frozen to
preserve its beautiful appearance.
Lava Cake
Oven: Place Lava Cake upside down on baking pan and
bake at 350° for 10 minutes or
until center becomes molten.
Microwave: Place Lava Cake upside down on plate and heat
for 30 seconds or until center
becomes molten.
Plating:
Put plate on top of Lava Cake and use spatula to flip cake
and plate together.

Galaxy Desserts operates under the principles of HACCP and standard Good
Manufactory Practices.
In October 2003, Galaxy Desserts
was rewarded for its concentrate food safety unit an “Excellent” rating
after undergoing a comprehensive 3rd Party Quality Audit by ASI Food Safety
Consultants.
ASI’s audit thoroughly checked every part of Galaxy Desserts’ facilities
including food safety, pest control, employee practices, & facility
conditions.

SHIPPING SPECIFICATIONS
We are proud to ship most of our desserts in an inflatable, environmentally friendly insulated package called an
Airliner. The gel-pack is reusable.
PRIVACY POLICY
At Galaxy Desserts, we are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize your need for appropriate
protection of any information you share with us. We guarantee that we will not share your information with any
third party.
SHIPPING POLICIES
• We will ship your order within 3 business days. If you need us to rush your delivery or have a specific
delivery date, please make sure to indicate that on your order.
• Our items are all perishable desserts, and therefore we ship via either FedEx Overnight (mousse cakes and
tarts) or FedEx 2-day service (cheesecakes and cakes).
• Overnight orders are delivered Tuesday through Friday. 2-day orders are delivered Wednesday through Friday.
Saturday or Sunday delivery is not available.
• If you or the recipient of your gift are not home when delivery is attempted, we have arranged with FedEx to
leave the package at the door.
• FedEx guarantees delivery before 5 p.m. for residential and 4 p.m. for business addresses.
• All ship-to addresses must be street addresses (FedEx will not deliver to PO Boxes).
• The customer is responsible for entering the right ship-to address when ordering. We will not be able to
reimburse you in case of mistake.
• We ship to the 48 continental United States.
• Hawaii and Alaska deliveries are available via 2-day service only.
• We are unable to ship internationally at this time.
SALES TAX
We do not charge sales tax.
